www.uberpulse.com During my tour of duty at GDC, I've stopped today to see my friends at Intel. Dan, George and of course Sr. performance analyst Francois (pictured) were all at the booth to show off Skulltrail, Intel's fastest platform with two 8-cores processors and targeted for the "enthusiasts" community. "About a year and a half ago, I met with you with your camera, and we were showing an 8 cores machine running POVray, which was kind of a workstation board [...] What we did... We decided to do a platform based on the feedback and that's Skulltrail", said Francois Piednoel. During our conversation, Francois shrugged off the idea that Skulltrail is a workstation platform: it does not have the same reliability than a workstation and supports SLI and Crossfire, which is not a workstation feature. "Don't go and overclock things and touch the parameters of the machine and expect the reliability of a workstation. It's not going to happen. Those knobs are open... but we don't guarantee things when you get there... it's not a workstation just because of this... If you want to do workstation work you will plug a more robust, more OpenGL like graphic susbsystem. Voltage is also another key difference between Skulltrail and a workstation platform. "When you want to be able to overclock, we had to redesign the entire voltage regulator array. Right now you have 3 stages of voltage regulators on those [Skulltrail] boards. Workstations don't do this. They go for extremely sharp ...

This is a how to DIY video that will teach you to make a 5 volt flashlight Mod for the Joye 510 electronic cigarette. The mod I teach you how to make I call the "Detonator" iut is a consistant 5 volts. Every time you vape the 2 cr123a batteries give you exactly 5 volt because of the inline voltage regulator. Other e-cigarette mods deliver 6 volt or more then slowly drop off as you use the PV, every hit the batteries become weaker and weaker slowly giving a lesser satisfying hit during use. The Detonator operates consistantly at 5 volt for the entire life of the rechargable protected cr123a batteries. This Detonator in the video has a red LED lit when the power is On and a blinking green LED when the attomizer is being powered. I take you through the process of making a 5 volt Detonator step by step, so that you can make your own. For those that don't want to make there own I will make one for you- just contact me for details.

Drag a Knee at 29 mph

How to drag a knee in a bumpy parking lot on a hill, 50 foot radius circle, with sand traps. New stator didn't burn up, but for some reason voltage dropped and digital speedo quit, perhaps for riding too slow for new voltage regulator to switch on, or regulator overheated and shut off. Speedo started working again after I got home, and voltage checked at 14.25v without lights and 13.9v with lights. Stunters add 1 quart of oil and extra fans that stay on all the time in parking lots. Hot PSI was 29.5 F/R. Factory PSI cold is 34 Front and 38 Rear for straightline highway use only (at max gross weight in wet weather), but is too hard for dry curvy roads at my weight (150 lbs) and causes "cold tearing" on the Dragon. Alignment feels screwy, with factory marks on swingarm off by 1/2 inch as measured by strings, straight edge and laser beam. Front brake disk off 1-degree camber leaning to the right compared to rear brake disk. Rear wheel centerline is 1/8 inch to the right of centerline of chassis measured by plumb bob. F/R wheel spacers correctly installed. Bike dropped twice while parked in a ditch, so maybe chassis, fork or swingarm is tweaked. In this small video (320 X 240 and 30 frames each second) you will be able to see the comparison. Both amplifiers are absolutelly the same, the transistors are the same, the resistances, the board, the capacitors and so on...also the power, the voltage and the currents into the stages. Only the method to feed current to the differential long tail is different, one uses a zener voltage regulator (Dx amplifier standard method) and other use a CCS..but both with absolutelly and exaclty the same current. The idea is to check if there's difference into the simulator, into the scope and also into listening tests.

This is a demonstration showing that the real stepper motor can be driven using the (unmodified) sample solution code that was written for Lab #3. To limit the total current draw+power consumption of the motor+driver circuit, a current-limiting resistance of 15 ohms was placed in series with the motor driver IC. We are powering the board using a 9V external AC/DC converter, which is mapped to +5V by the project board's voltage regulator.
