Testing the repaired voltage regulator for an MEP-002a, MEP-003a generator. You can see early in the video that the regulator adjusts the output with the rheostat. Next inside the control box and a close-up of the repair. And finally the voltage stabilization test. Going from a full 10KW resistive load to no load all at once. The voltage stabilizes very quickly.

Switched mode power sources (SMPS) - a modern power supply with high efficiency. The traditional linear power supply with a consistent regulatory elements remain constant output voltage when changing the input voltage or load current due to change of its resistance. Linear Regulator (stabilizer) so it can be very inefficient. Switched mode power sources use high-frequency switch (transistor) with variables on / off states, to stabilize the output voltage. Ripple output voltage is caused by the key mode, filtered by LC filter.

This is a first rough draft modification for my Spektrum DX7 which provides a backlight for the LCD Screen, enabling you to see the screen in low-light or dark conditions. It comprises of: - EL Panel ( White ) - EL Inverter - Switching Voltage Regulator (5V) - Mini Toggle Switch - Some Red&Black electrical wires You'll also need your own soldering iron and solder to make this setup to work. The setup runs off the DX7's battery. Using the Voltage Regulator means that it uses less power. This is just my first rough draft of this mod to check that I could get it to work. Next steps are to use thinner red&black wires as the existing wires I've bought are too thick and stiff. Then after that I hope to get this setup installed into the DX7.

Linear regulators

Modern IC voltage regulators are available in a wide range of output voltages and currents, they have a built-in protection against overcurrent and overheating. Voltage stabilizers are divided into two classes - linear (continuous), and pulse. Today we tell about the linear voltage regulators.

www.cobalt-minor.co.uk Alternator repair and rebuild part 1 is some footage from the dvd that we film showing 3 different ypes being rebuilt. One lucas alternator, one Delco alternator and a Lucas dynamo rebuild. I show you how to change the alternator bearings brushes rotor commutator casings stator magnet the lot. You will that basically the only "special tool" rrequired is big enough soldering iron which you will need to replace the alternator rectifier and on some alternator the voltage regulator. The dynamo is easy except for a special spring clamp but thats not always needed. We show you how to check the rotor windings without special tools and also you see an accident I have with the hammer so you'll see what not to when you are repairing or rebuilding your rotary components.

1968 Plymouth Road Runner

This is one of the nicest restored, documented, numbers matching 1968, 426 Hemi, Plymouth Road Runners in existence today. This car comes with full Galen Govier documentation papers and certificate. We also has a complete photo book showing and documenting this Rotisserie restoration. We have many receipts and dyno sheets for this car. I must add the transmission is not the original, but correct for the car. It is dated Feb 27, 1968. This car was built on or about Dec. 04, 1967. With that being said, the motor is stamped Oct. 28, 1967. This is the original 426 Hemi RB block that came in this car. Only 840, 426 Hemi Road Runner 2 door coupes were built in 1968. Only 391 Automatics in US. This car is # 22 of 62 built at the St. Louis Mo. plant. This car is Matador Red with Very Rare Silver Interior. The car now has 266 miles on it since its restoration. This is not a car you have seen on TV auctions or advertised anywhere. This is an uncirculated car coming out of an extensive Hemi collection. This car was restored to concourse specifications, even the voltage regulator is date coded correct for this car. More details and pictures are available at carsetc.com.

Assembling a Power Supply

Assembling a Power SupplyOne of the most common variants of self-assembling of power supply is assembling the device of prefabricated modular units. For example, when you have already chosen a power supply of the required voltage and current, you still need to select a voltage regulator. And it would be great if it had a display with digital controls. When this problem is also solved, you just need to choose a body and put the selected electronic components into it.Now what do we have? A switching power supply with a 1.4A load and the voltage of 15V. A small-sized and compact product with no-failure operation........ Then, a voltage regulator from 1.5 to 15V (VM038, a Master KIT product) equipped with a segment display to help you regulate the voltage by a digital control. So you can enjoy its convenience.........What do we need now? A body that would match the size of chosen components: just search, find, choose and buy........ Then a power cord, a power switch, while all the rest are mere details: I mean a fastener and tools to finish and fit our device into its body........Firstly, we put the regulator circuit in a convenient place in the body. I've chosen a cover for the body, it has smaller edges and conveniently matches the markup of the display and control buttons......... At first, we drill holes for the buttons...... After we put them in the lid, we mark a rectangle to place the display; we use for this a drill with a cutting disc..... Try to cut with a smaller ...

This is a how to DIY video that will teach you to make a 5 volt flashlight Mod for the Joye 510 electronic cigarette. The mod I teach you how to make I call the "Detonator" iut is a consistant 5 volts. Every time you vape the 2 cr123a batteries give you exactly 5 volt because of the inline voltage regulator. Other e-cigarette mods deliver 6 volt or more then slowly drop off as you use the PV, every hit the batteries become weaker and weaker slowly giving a lesser satisfying hit during use. The Detonator operates consistantly at 5 volt for the entire life of the rechargable protected cr123a batteries. This Detonator in the video has a red LED lit when the power is On and a blinking green LED when the attomizer is being powered. I take you through the process of making a 5 volt Detonator step by step, so that you can make your own. For those that don't want to make there own I will make one for you- just contact me for details.

This is a car ignition coil driven modified CFL light. The circuit is only two very small transistors. The circuit self oscillates by feeding back a pulse signal gathered by a thin wire that is wrapped around the base of the ignition coil. A step down adjustable voltage regulator is used to control the power coming out of a small AA battery pack. A wave form is shown on a oscilloscope. The device is running on 4.5 volts (regulated) at 20 milliamps.
