This shows the circuit diagram for the tiny motor/generator that I made and showed in the video on 8-25-11. I don't recommend this circuit because there are easier ways to accomplish the same thing. The setup for the motor was made using parts on hand. Instead of using four separate coils, just two coils wound properly could probably give the same results.

Flyback Transformer

Flyback TransformerFlyback transformer is a separate component of the line scanning unit of a TV set or a monitor. It is used to generate a high voltage at the CRT's second anode and secondary voltages, intended to power CRT's filament circuits, to generate accelerating voltage, to power video amplifiers, to perform frame deflection. It also generates line scanning flyback pulses for the blanking circuit to operate. The product is a conventional transformer with a multiplier in the same package, in abbreviated form - FBT. FBTs also have regulators of focusing and accelerating voltage needed for kinescope's operating function.Flyback transformer performs the basic operability function of line scanning in television receivers or monitors.Line scanning actuating pulses arrive at the prestage, and then are amplified in power. Prestage load is represented by a transistor and a transformer, which matches the preamp with the output stage. From secondary winding flyback pulses go to the output stage. It is built as a circuit with high-power transistor series feed with built-in damper diode. An important function in FBTs is performed by load circuits of line-deflection and frame-deflection coils, which influence the functional process of scanning in television receivers or monitors.Structurally, the transformer is made in the form of several windings of cylindrical form, filled with epoxy resin with a plasticizer. Diodes of the anode section are also filled with resin along with ...

All brands of rechargeable trimmers have a battery life issue because they need to remain lightweight. Over time the charge controller board does not allow for a good deep battery charge so they only last a minute. You can find them at yard sales all the time. If you have a spare panel with MC connectors this is a fun easy fix. An external charge controller (not shown) can be added for quick solar charges needed in heavily shaded areas. You can use up to a 50 ft extension cord before voltage becomes a problem. Great solution for larger yards far from power. No more burning up electric AC trimmers with 200 ft of cord. I guess you could use a gas trimmer but the exhaust is very bad for you.

Power Inverter

www.powerinverters.com 1.877.450.3394 Power Inverter Info The main use of a power inverter is to take battery power (DC power) and convert it to regular power for your electronics/appliaces (AC power). You do this by connecting battery cables from the inverter to your battery and then you are able to plugin your components directly into the power inverter. The usual output voltage might range from 105-115 and sometimes a bit lower if your inverter has a small load on it. Inverters will specify whether they are 12v or 24v. For 24v, you can use multiple 6v or 12v batteries to get to that voltage. For 12v, you can use for instance regular car batteries or deep cycle batteries and connect as many as you want in a 12v setup. The more batteries you have, the more capacity you will have. The capacity of the battery is usually referred to in AH. A regular car battery will have approximately 80-100AH. To protect your power inverter, you could put fuses on your positive cable(s). This can be purchased at almost any car parts store, or a hardware store that sells items related to batteries or cables. A lot of these stores might sell batteries as well, some popular ones being deep cycle, marine, golf cart, 8d, machinery batteries. Some might be 6v, some might be 12v, but you can connect the batteries in series or parallel to add more batteries. Most electronics such as fridges, microwaves, kettles, pots, power tools, lights, fans, compressors, freezers, TVs, sump pumps, etc.. will ...

Giving an example of what the fuel pump should sound like. If you don't hear this before engine starting, then a broken fuel pump is likely the cause of your engine not starting up. Be sure to check the fuel pump relay and voltage to the fuel pump on ignition before. There should be no voltage before ignition. Upon ignition your voltmeter should read your battery voltage for a few seconds then back to no voltage unless you are starting the engine.

THIS IS A VIDEO TO SHOW THOSE WHO DONT WANT TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY FOR THE BIG SYSTEMS OUT THERE. THE BLACK UNIT IN THE BACK GROUND IS THE ONE THAT IM MAKING FOR A FRIEND WHO WILL USE IT WITH GREAT GLADNESS. HIS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WAS ALMOST COMPLETELY DESTROYED BY LIGHTENING. IT WOULD COST TOO MUCH FOR REPAIRS AND NEW DEPOSITS AND OLD BILL TO RECONNECT, ESPECIALY WITH REPAIRS FOR A NEW SERVICE BOX AND UPDATING TO A BREAKER SYSTEM AND THE WIRES DESTROYED IN THE HOUSE. ALTHOUGH THIS UNIT WILL NOT NORMALLY SUPPLY A NORMAL HOUSE HOLD IT WILL ALLOW HIM TO HAVE LIGHTS , RADIO, TV , CELLPHONE CHARGING, AND A FEW MORE THINGS BUT NOT ALL AT ONCE OR CONSTANTLY. BUT 20 DOLLARS A DAY FOR GAS IN A GENERATOR IS NOT AN OPTION EITHER. A BAG OF ICE, AND A COOLER IS. WE ARE MAKING A SOLAR HOT WATER HEATER AS WELL. BY 1:00 PM HE WILL HAVE ENOUGH WATER TO DO DISHES AND GET A NICE HOT SHOWER. THEN RELAX BY THE TV OR RADIO FOR A FEW HOURS ON STORED ENERGY. THEN GO TO SLEEP WITH A SMILE. IF HE GETS UP IN THE NIGHT HE CAN JUST TURN ON THE LIGHT. AND ITS ALL FREE. I HAVE ONE CONFESSION TO MAKE ABOUT THE ONE IN THE FIRST VIDEO THAT EVERYONE HAS COMPLEMENTED ON FROM THE BEGINNING. THAT IS , THAT THE ONE THAT IS IN THE VIDEO IS THE 7th OR 8th ONE I DID. I DID IT FOR SOMEONE ELSE BUT I DESTROYED ONE OF THE COIL SETS IN IT BY PULLING ON THE WIRES TO HARD WHILE I WAS RETHREADING THE WIRES TO COME OUT THE OTHER SIDE. US Navy Training Film MN-9223f en.wikipedia.org An oil burner is a heating device which burns fuel oil. The oil is atomized in to a fine spray usually by forcing it under pressure through a nozzle. This spray is usually ignited by an electric spark with the air being forced through by an electric fan. Fuel is injected into the combustion chamber by a spray nozzle. The nozzles are usually supplied with high pressure oil. Because of problems with erosion, and blockage due to lumps in the oil, they need frequent replacement typically every year. Fuel nozzles are usually rated in fuel volume flow per unit time eg USGal/h (US Gallons per hour). A fuel nozzle is characterized by 3 features: - A flow of 7 bar pump pressure (0.65 (USGal / h)) - The spray characteristic (S) - The spray angle (60 °) Alternatively fuel may be passed over a tiny orifice fed with compressed air. This arrangement is referred to as babington atomiser/nozzle after its inventor. As the oil flows over the nozzle , the fuel needn't be under any great pressure. If the pump can handle such the oil may even contain lumps such as ...

DC Current PWM-Controller. Circuit Engineering. Pulse-width modulation is a method of voltage control that today is used quite extensively. PWM-signals are for the most part used to control motors and pulse power supply units. This purpose is served by a number of control circuits: transistors, special microcircuitry, digital signal processors. As a rule, a transistor, often a FET, is used to control the generated PWM-signal. Widely popular are the width-pulse circuits that control powerful field-effect transistors - MOSFETs. These transistors are capable of switching high current of up to 100A and above at the gate voltage of 12-15V. The on-state transistor resistance is very low, which decreases the dissipated power. Control circuits are supposed to provide for at least 12V-15V difference between the gate and the source. In some cases, PWM-controllers employ microchips with output voltage build-up of up to 25-30V at 8-14V supply voltage, which facilitates connection of the transistor in the circuit with the common drain. For the majority of loads with current consumption of below 10A the circuits do not have an additional voltage build-up unit. Let's look at an example of PWM-controller using a simple circuit based on the logical CMOS microchip inverters. The device is a square-wave generator based on two logical components, where the diodes separately change the electric charge time constant and the electric discharge time constant of the capacitor that sets the ...

A separate potentiometer is used to set the threshold voltage so that when the input reads 2.5 volt the output only turns on 5LED's. This is my first PHR-805T Build and I really really like it :) When focused it immediately starts to burn one's skin(surprisingly well actually...I feel like I may have gotten a very efficient diode). It burns matches pretty quickly, and it focuses VERY well which is a nice surprise....typically finding focus to infinity is a pain, but when the Aixiz lens is screwed all the way in the beam is perfect.

www.drivingthenation.com North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), Detroit, MI - BYD Auto's chairman Wang Chuanfu and MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co.'s David Sokol sat down with me at the 2009 Detroit auto show. MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co. is a subsidiary of Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway. Chuanfu and Sokol talked about BYD auto and what Warren Buffet saw in BYD Auto that made them invest $235 million for about 10 percent share of BYD Auto. BYD auto is a Chinese automobile manufacturer based in Shenzhen Guangdong Province People's Republic of China. BYD Auto specializes in ferrous batteries for electric vehicles. Chuanfu's interpreter talked about getting the electric battery ready for electric vehicles. The intent is to create batteries that will help regulate voltage on the electric grid. What I didn't know before this meeting was that BYD is creating energy storage systems that hold energy that can be used later, say, during peak hours of transmission between noon and 5pm in the United States. Can the car itself become a voltage regulator?Did Buffett buy into BYD for the auto or for the storage capacitors? BYD Auto has 1000 engineers working on this, compared to General Motors 200 engineers.

Bipolar power supply from unipolar. Circuitry engineeringIn the process of construction of various electronic devices, there are often situations when a bipolar power supply is required to power them. In case there is a transformer with one step-down winding, it is not difficult to make a source with bipolar power supply. Moreover, some of the circuits are also constant-voltage regulators. Here is one of the examples of a bipolar constant-voltage regulator. The circuit consists of 3 simple voltage regulators. Alternating current voltage is applied on the diode bridge, the plus of which comes to the collector of the transistor VT2, from its emitter, relative to minus, the constant voltage of +12 V is removed. Consequently, the voltage difference between the collector and the emitter of the transistor VT2 is 15 V. Therefore, this voltage is used by the transistor VT1, and on its emitter, relative to the emitter of the transistor VT2, a constant voltage of +12 V is also received, and relative to the minus, the voltage is +24 V. Now we have a plus, total and a minus. But imagine a situation when there will occur a short circuit of the output of the circuit-wise high-side, in other words, when the emitter VT2 will be closed to the emitter VT1, namely, there will be +24 V on the common wire, relative to minus. This can result in the bringing out of operation the power supply system. To avoid this, a stabilizer is set according to the minus on the transistor VT3. The circuit has ...

Modern automotive pressure sensors are of up most importance, whether gasoline or diesel engines. Did you know that a faulty HVAC or air conditioning high pressure sensor can make the engine not start? It so happens that on some vehicles (Cadillacs) the high pressure sensor is connected to the other sensor voltage reference line. So a shorted sensor will render the crank sensor inoperable. Get the scoop here on pressure sensors. They're used in injection systems, transmission, HVAC and many other systems. Presented using advanced software CG animation technology to help you understand. Part of our wiring diagram and electronic series shown here on this channel. Enjoy...

BUT THE 12 VOLT SYSTEM INSTEAD OF 24 VOLT SYSTEM WILL NOT SLOW THE BLADES DOWN WHEN ...

The project is essentially done and ready for delivery to the strawbale home where it will live. The only thing to add now is a bit of + / - physical protection to avoid bumping live buss bars, a small AA charge, and a lamp. This setup will basically be used to run a few kitchen appliances like food processors, etc, in an off grid home. When the SLA's die, each one (5 total) will be replaced with (2) 6V Trojans in series, thus comprising a 1000 Amp Hour Bank. That is why everything was done beefy, to accomodate that. I will post links to the parts I used; everything was quite affordable. The setup as shown cost less than $300 incl. everything you see. the inverter is a Xantrex 3000 watt modified sine wave with max 300A input. I thought that using a voltage regulator may be intimidating to some people so I made this video showing a little simpler way to hook up three lasers to a 9V battery. The original reason for the voltage regulator is that it keeps the lasers safe with no voltage variations or spikes. and also it keeps the lasers the same brightness for alot longer, but with only the resistors (like in this video) the lasers will get dimmer as the voltage goes down on the battery, yes that means that the voltage regulator would keep the lasers at the same brightness for alot longer------ to a point (once the battery discharges to 6.2V and then they'll start getting dimmer. You need to make sure to have a 330 ohm resistor on each individual laser. "Enjoy the Poop!!!", where did that come from?

My multimeter has an Offset error (-0.4V). The correct value is 14,4V . My gallery about completly alternator and regulator repairing: www.sportmotor.hu Voltage Rectifier/Regulator malfunction: A typical cause is !!NOT!! a bad SH633-12 regulator. The generator will be groundfault at high temperatures. Can not be measured by Multimeter only by Insulation Tester! Regulator alternates: moto-electro.ru or home.comcast.net !!! You should check the coil. Charging coil line (yellow to yellow) 0,1...0,3 OHm Ground line Contiunity should exist about 10GOhm/500V...50 GOhm/500V You can check this by ( Insulation Tester) or home technique: 1 Remove the whole alternator 2 switch DC voltage 0...230V :-) between one yellow and alternator-cover 3 Measure the current ( if your alternator is good, you can not measure anything by multimeter) 4 Calculate resistance (10^9 Ohm , G ohm) // 5 Heat to 100 ° C and repeat 2 to 4 // My measuring was 30Kohm when I warmed it to 100° C and this is very bad !!! 20° C was 1GOhm !!! I hope you find the problem ! If you have any question do not hesitate to contact me. My email: benzinszag@freemail.hu

Understandably, this is not going to save the planet or signifigantly reduce your electric bill but it will give you really intense workout. It just seemed to make good sense that an alternator would work well since it is already voltage-regulated and cheap & easy to obtain. It is important to get the alternator spinning before you energize the rotating field or it will be very hard to get it up to speed. The amount of power you can get depends on how strong your legs are and the size of the inverter you use. I doubt the alternator could be maxed out with human power. Of course, you could modify the alternator if you wanted to. I've gotten 160 amps before out of a modified Delcotron. This one puts out 35 amps. Now, I realize some people would ask whats the point of all this. Well, whats the point of a stationary bike anyways? You expend energy for nothing as it goes nowhere. At least you could run a TV, stereo, lights, or whatever while you're at your exercise routine. Some of you auto electric experts might want to point out the seemingly high voltage and say "Hey, it should be no more than 13.8 volts" but this is a $3.50 volt meter!

DVD Laser Burner HD

I built this in my spare time in an afternoon. I had an old DVD writer that I dismantled to pull the laser diode out of (you can find other videos on Youtube showing how to dismantle the DVD writer). I had bought a couple of 10mW laser modules for $6.95 each a year ago and hadn't made use of them yet. They were perfect for this as they had their own heatsink already and a nice focusing lens and the same diode package as the DVD writer so just popped the 10mW one out and press fitted the replacement diode in. Rough estimate of 300 mW based on 300 mA and 3V for the laser which is 900mW total power and assuming 30% efficiency. Believe red laser diodes have around 50% efficiency but this is an old unit. Will test it with a photometer I have at the office later. Takes less then 2 seconds to burn through a plastic CD case. The aluminum case works as a heat sink for both the laser diode assembly and the LM317T driver. If doing it this way be sure the LM317T is electrically insulated from the metal case with silicon or mica transistor spacers as the tab on the 317 is the output and the case of the diode is at ground, else you will short it out.

This gun is now for sale: I hardly used it after the tuning while moving my attention to airguns from bb. Please email me at markqian@hotmail.com if interest. Here are the modification I did on this gun: 1). Replacing the barrel with JC. This is the first modification I did. It sounds easy but not really to me when I was really new to the gun. I eventually ended up with disassembled the gun completely. The good fact was that it resulted me understand more about the gun. I have been reassembled this gun for more than 15 times. Disassembling the gun not-intentionally encouraged me go further to replace the chip. 2). Replacing the chip for full auto. This is also a hard one. After disassembling the gun, I came up with the idea of replacing the chip. It looks straight forward in the demo video but it is harder when you really do it. You could over heat a component or permanently cut out part of the circuit - I did and make it up when soldering. Warning: anything could happen after you reassembly your gun...What happened to me was the magazine was no longer working. It first kept loading as long as the power is on without stopping and eventually stop working/loading completely (lost all the power). I got it fixed by getting a chip replacement (thanks for DrozdMax.com with a free replacement). 3). Using 2 x 3.6v (close to 4v when full) + 4 x 1.5v batteries = 14v. This is the easiest task. You just need to decide what voltage you want. I don't want to get too close to the limit ...

This video demonstrates PIR motion detector with a pir circuitry. This circuit is a home made. The circuit uses pir sensor which detects motion and amplifies the signal. relay is switched on when motion is detected, and switched off when no motion is detected. The voltage regulator used here are,7805 and 7812 ic . i had assembled this inside a switch board, and connected to the mains 250 volts. as you can see when the relay is on, and off, light is on, and off. When a motion is detected the relay is switched on. This circuit is always on when continous motion is detected. It waits for a while before switching off. again when it detects a motion it is switched on. this project was designed and developed entirely by Titoo . they consist entirely of content that titoo created himself.. completed in 5 days.
