Diode Turn-On Time Induced Failures in Switching Regulators
0 comments Posted by shopping-team at 3:15 AMwith Jim Williams, Staff Scientist video.linear.com Most circuit designers are familiar with diode dynamic characteristics such as charge storage, voltage dependent capacitance and reverse recovery time. Less commonly acknowledged and manufacturer specified is diode forward turn-on time. This parameter describes the time required for a diode to turn on and clamp at its forward voltage drop.

this chip can give you a regulated output from 1.5V to 13 Volts output... in put is 1,5 to 37 volts i think..... you can also buy it as a regulated output of 5 or 12 volts and others.... neg value chips also..... output is 1.5 amps......transistors can easily add up to 3 amps..... these are also control parts of bigger circuits. i will add this to my PWM to control the voltage to the main circuit.
