Nowadays it is hard to find a radio-electronic device without a stabilized power supply. In most cases this function is performed by the integral voltage stabilizer, an IC. The list of industrially produced integrated voltage stabilizers is quite long, and they differ in many parameters, for example, in the operation principle (linear and impulse), in the output voltage (positive and negative, fixed and variable output voltage value), power and many other parameters.
