LM317T Voltage Regulator with Pass Transistor

boginjr.com A few resistor modification, some desoldering, wiring and an LED voltmeter from eBay and voila, our new supply with overcurrent protection (short circuit proof) is now done. Video includes "heavy duty testin' " with a small peewee two watt 0R58 resistor (to check the maximum current provided by the supply), purposely haven't kept it there for more than a second or two, or else it would burst in flames real quick xD - And say goodbye to your LM317 "lab power supplies" !
