www.microchip.com Walk through the basics of a charge pump circuit. Each components significance is highlighted using a series of slides that show both the schematic and output waveforms. Next, a pulse train is applied to the circuit to create a voltage doubler. Intelligence is later incorporated using a comparator peripheral on a PIC Microcontroller to regulate output voltage. All equations required to build the circuit are discussed as well as derivations and importance. Finally, using the same components, a voltage inverter is created to show some alternate configurations.

Voltage Doubler

This is the voltage multiplier I made, it steps up 16VAC to 100.02VDC Pulsed. The next thing will be a regulator to make the voltage stable and continuous.
