LM3914 Resistor Variable LED display. By adjusting the voltage on the 1k Ohm potentiometer, we can achieve a simple voltage divider that ranges from 0 to 5 volts on the wiper arm. This signal fed into the input of the LM3914N and is displayed out to the 10LED array. A separate potentiometer is used to set the threshold voltage so that when the input reads 2.5 volt the output only turns on 5LED's. Take a look and have fun, wiring this circuit up should be fun and simple.
