Arduino RGB Colour Fader

One of the first test projects I built with my Arduino. The LEDs come on a flexible 5m roll and can be stuck to anything you want. [In the video I've put masking tape over them since they're really bright.] The Arduino is powered by an external power adapter delivering 12V, which is reduced to 5V by the internal voltage regulator. The LEDs are switched using high power NPN transistors via PWM. The display is a 4-line standard LCD from RS Components using a 4-bit parallel interface and the LiquidCrystal library.
