Here is my second video with the full description of the circuit. And yes it does charge all iphones/ipads/ipods. Supplies needed: 5v voltage regulator, two 100 ohm resistors, switch, very thin wires, altoids tin, USB port, 9v battery dock, electrical tape, 9v battery.

I made the world's first Altoids Smalls portable USB charger that uses a 9v battery as its power source. It also has special resistors for pin 2 and 3 to fool any device into thinking that it is charging from a wall outlet. The current reaches as high as 1amp, and it lets any device charge very fast. Components used are: Altoids Smalls tin, 9v battery, 2 100ohm resistors, 5v voltage regulator, switch, electrical tape, and a few very thin wires. Enjoy.
