I thought that using a voltage regulator may be intimidating to some people so I made this video showing a little simpler way to hook up three lasers to a 9V battery. The original reason for the voltage regulator is that it keeps the lasers safe with no voltage variations or spikes. and also it keeps the lasers the same brightness for alot longer, but with only the resistors (like in this video) the lasers will get dimmer as the voltage goes down on the battery, yes that means that the voltage regulator would keep the lasers at the same brightness for alot longer------ to a point (once the battery discharges to 6.2V and then they'll start getting dimmer. You need to make sure to have a 330 ohm resistor on each individual laser. "Enjoy the Poop!!!", where did that come from?
