LM317T Voltage Regulator with Pass Transistor

We changed over to an alternator in my brothers 1960 dodge dart seneca. We could have gone and bought a new 100 amp alternator but were to cheap to do that so we used a mid 60's chrysler alt that had been sitting in a barn for about 15yrs.
